Advania Norway is selling its general ERP-business to Columbus

Advania Norway is selling parts of the company to Columbus, and is cultivating the focus on infrastructure, Contact Centre and independent software Vendor) for the real-estate market.

45 employees will from the 6th of January be employed by Columbus, and the sale includes the apparatus for consultants and sales, customer contracts and obligations.

 "The ERP-market is changing and consolidating. To be a generalist within Microsoft Dynamics, it is important to be big enough to handle clients of all sizes with complex projects.  Advania is now stepping away from the role as a general supplier of Microsoft Dynamics, and is specializing as a supplier of infrastructure with services, hardware/software, Contact Centre and PMAx. This sale is a part of the Advania Group’s strategy and is based on an assessment of how to acheieve the growth we desire," says Espen B Hartz, CEO of Advania Norway.

 The last year and a half, Hartz has lead Advania Norway through massive changes. The company has evolved, through the purchase of Stepper and Itello, from solely being a supplier of ERP, to supplying services within both ERP and infrastructure. With the current sale to Columbus, the company is now cultivated as a supplier of infrastructure, Contact Centre and PMAx within property management.

 "We are supported by a Group that is willing to invest, and we are not hiding the fact that we wish to make further acquisitions to strenghten the company," says Hartz.

A Good Match for Customers and Employees

Espen Hartz is perfectly satisfied with the fact that Columbus is taking over. His opinion is that the company is well equipped to succeed within the field of ERP, and that the customers that make the transfer from Advania will experience a solid selection of services.

 "I feel confident that this is a good match for our employees and that they will have a great place to work. With access to a large number of projects, customers and an academic community that is not intimidated by anything. Many of them already know the culture and their new colleagues from joint customer projects over several years".

 Advania Norway will keep PMAx, a proprietary business solution for property management and the belonging employees, in addition to services in infrastructure and Contact Centre Solutions.

 ISV within property management

PMAx is an independent software developed by Advania Norway in cooperation with Advania Iceland. This has been a very successfull business solution in the Norwegian Market. PMAx is available through Microsoft AppSource and Advania Norway is now taking responsibility for bringing the solution to other European countries.

"We have invested in the development of PMAx, and we are excited to move forward. 2019 has proven that we have a solid academic team, and that the marked is in demand of this effective, clod-based platform in property managment."
